Hot 100 update time…only 20 days left!

It is time for another Hot 100- going out with a bang! update! Wow, only 20 days left in the challenge. I hope everyone is doing their best to reach the goals they set for themselves.

I myself, am working my damndest, and pushing myself in challenges others have set in addition to this Hot 100 challenge.

Here are my goals for Steve’s  “Hot 100-Going Out with a Bang” challenge.

  1. Finish the C25K program–one more day to do which will be at the gym since my treadmill is broke! 😦 😦
  2. Run 5k twice per week (or more) once done the program–almost ready!
  3. Lose 10 lbs — starting weight 168 lbs–I did it! 11 lbs as of this morning! weight= 157.  🙂
Now that my treadmill is broken, I will have to find the time to make the 40 min trek one way into the city to the gym as many times in the week that I can afford the gas and time. I is going to suck as I really like the convience of having my workout equipment right there to do my workouts when I have the energy. I talked to the service tech today about my treadmill and he believes it is actually the belt (not moving properly) that is making the motor work to hard. In that case, the belt will need to be replaced, a $300 bill on top of the $100 service call charge. So my motor if ruined, will not be covered under warranty as it is my fault for not waxing my deck to keep the belt moving smoothly. Hopefully, the motor is okay. I need to make an appointment for next week.

I have spent most of the day pouting! 😦

    11 pounds! Wow! That is fantastic!

    Sorry to hear about the treadmill, hopefully it just needs a new belt.

    Not only is the treadmill broken, but your gym is 40 minutes away?!?!

    No wonder you have been pouting 😦

    I hope it’s just the belt too, but on a more positive note, 11 pound loss AND almost done c25k.

    Boy, the treadmill breaking really stinks. At least you have a gym to go to, even though it is so far away. Just remember, there are less than 20 days left now. You can do anything for that length of time.
